Five tips for better image prompts
Small prompt changes that consistently produce sharper, more on-brand results.
Good prompts are specific, sensory, and constrained.
- Lead with the subject, then the setting, then the style.
- Name the lens or medium ("35mm", "studio softbox", "ink wash").
- Constrain the palette to 2–3 colors for cohesion across a series.
- Add one negative ("no text", "no extra fingers") rather than a long list.
- Iterate on one variable at a time so you can tell what actually moved the result.
